Hi, It’s me! Theresa Green, and I’m the owner of BouqYard. I’ve created floral design for over 30 years (I swear I can’t be THAT old).

I started out as a self-taught designer at a small florist in Huntsville, AL, and eventually moved on to designing weddings all over the South. You may have seen my brides’ bouquets on the cover of Southern Bride Magazine.

I love what I do and can’t imagine life any other way. When I’m not creating unique floral designs, I’m at home with my husband of 26 years, our cocker spaniel, two kittens and three beautiful children. Needless to say, life is busy...and pretty incredible.

Please come join me for my Insider Tips: Basics of Design and Christmas/Holiday Design Demostration, November 9th, 2019. If you are interested in our DIY Weddings series that begins February 29th, 2020, this class is required for the DIY series. SPACE IS LIMITED

WHAT:

- Learn the basics of floral design from a 30 year professional and insider tips that you will use the rest of your life. Take your home, weddings and events to the next level and impress friends and family.

- Learn all the tricks of the trade, from how to prepare your oasis (there is only one correct way and most amateurs don’t know it) to the proper way to choose, process (for longevity) and use fresh flowers.

- Learn SIMPLE, but less known outside the floral industry, tips that will make your fresh flowers last longer and display more beautifully, PLUS, make you look like a rock star designer.

- Creative, simple and unique ideas and “how to” to design floral arrangements for the holidays out of your, or someone’s , backyard

- How to tie bows; did you know there is more than one way? The florist way (more difficult but more beautiful), and the short cut way.

The class will be packed with information, but don’t worry, a video of the class will be available for you to review over and over as you create your own designs at home.

After years of taking hundreds of calls from family, friends, church, school, I have realized there are many things that people don’t know that they need to know about floral design. If you walk into this class an amateur, you will leave with many pro skills in your tool belt.
